User Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

Automatez ("we", "our", "us") integrates with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to sync Lead Ads, Pages, and WhatsApp Business data into your CRM. This page explains how you, as a user, can request that we delete the personal data and Meta-connected data we hold about you.

You may request deletion of your data at any time, whether or not you remove Automatez from your Facebook account.

2. Delete Your Data From Your Account

If you have an Automatez account, you can request deletion directly from the platform:

  1. Log in to your Automatez account at https://automatez.app/login.
  2. Go to Settings → Account (or Settings → Sources / Connections for Meta-specific data).
  3. Disconnect any connected Facebook/Instagram Pages or WhatsApp Business accounts.
  4. Choose Delete My Account / Delete My Data and confirm the request.

Once confirmed, we queue your account and associated data for permanent deletion.

3. Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account, or you are a contact/lead whose data was synced into someone else's CRM via Facebook Lead Ads, you can request deletion by emailing us directly:

  • Send an email to support@automatez.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  • Include your full name, the email or phone number associated with your data, and (if applicable) the Facebook/Instagram account or Page name involved.
  • We will verify your identity before processing the request to protect against unauthorized deletions.

4. Removing Automatez From Facebook or Instagram

You can also revoke Automatez's access to your Facebook or Instagram account, which stops any further data syncing:

  1. Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
  2. Find Automatez in the list of active apps.
  3. Click Remove to revoke access.

Removing the app stops future data collection but does not automatically erase data we have already stored. To have that data permanently deleted, please also submit a request using the methods in sections 2 or 3 above, or use Facebook/Instagram's built-in "Request that this app delete my data" option if shown when you remove the app — this triggers a deletion request directly to us.

5. What Gets Deleted

When a deletion request is confirmed, we permanently remove:

  • Your account profile, login credentials, and team/organization membership
  • Contacts, leads, and Facebook/Instagram Lead Ad submissions linked to your account
  • Stored Facebook/Instagram Page access tokens and webhook subscriptions
  • WhatsApp, email, and chat conversation history tied to your account
  • Campaigns, templates, automations, and analytics data you created

Some information may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes) or kept in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged. See our Privacy Policy for details on retention.

6. Processing Time & Confirmation

  • We process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
  • You will receive a confirmation email at the address on file once your data has been deleted.
  • If we are unable to delete certain data (for example, due to an active legal obligation), we will explain why in our response.
